The DSP5200.2 is a floorstanding digital active loudspeaker supplied here as a matched stereo pair in piano lacquer black. Each loudspeaker contains a complete, self-contained audio system with Meridian’s latest DSP code, three 75W power amplifiers (225W total) and a three-way driver array using dual 160mm polypropylene long‑throw bass drivers and a 25mm aluminium‑composite dome tweeter with silver voice‑coil. Meridian’s DSP technology and on‑board amplification replace traditional passive crossovers and external power amplifiers, creating authentic, natural and lifelike sound in small to medium rooms of around 20–30m². With in‑room frequency response within 3dB from 35Hz to over 20kHz, peak output of 116dB at 1 metre and overall distortion typically below 0.02% at any frequency or level, the DSP5200.2 delivers truly full‑range performance from a compact footprint cabinet.
