ACOUSTICALLY TRANSPARENT SCREEN MATERIALS

BWAT

Bright White Acoustically Transparent is designed for applications where a more realistic sound-stage is desired, this woven fabric allows for the installation of speakers behind the surface of the screen. With virtually no sound loss and sharp image quality, its specially designed weave pattern allow sound to smoothly pass through the screen material. The small holes in the surface of the material are smaller than Severtson MicroPerf and the material is cut at an angle angle to avoid moire effect. BWAT is washable with mild soap and water, flame retardant and mildew resistant.

CINEMA WHITE MICRO PERF

Cinema White is over 30% brighter than Matte White. It is a unique fabric that offers a bright, uniform image with no color shift at any viewing angle. This surface is designed to provide a higher amount of brightness for lower output projector types. Its increased reflectivity will help enhance image brightness in situations where a low level of ambient light is present. Cinema White is washable with mild soap and water, flame retardant and mildew resistant.

SAT-4K

SAT-4K: Stellar Acoustically-Transparent is a revolutionary new woven material designed so that the entire sound stage can be placed directly behind the screen at the same horizontal axis, allowing the audio track to be in perfect sync with the brilliant images on display. The SAT-4K screen meets or exceeds all industry standards for optimum video and acoustic performance, with reference quality reproduction of the digital image combined with true fidelity to the soundtrack. SAT-4K material has virtually no size limitations — it can now be used on small screens and exceptionally large screens.

TAT-4K

TAT-4K: Titanium Acoustically-Transparent is a revolutionary new woven material designed so that the entire sound stage can be placed directly behind the screen at the same horizontal axis, allowing the audio track to be in perfect sync with the brilliant images on display. The TAT-4K screen meets or exceeds all industry standards for optimum video and acoustic performance, with reference quality reproduction of the digital image combined with true fidelity to the soundtrack. The titanium-grey shade on the TAT-4K preserves picture contrast even in rooms that are not completely dark, resulting in a crisp image that will amaze the viewers. TAT-4K material has virtually no size limitations — it can now be used on small screens and exceptionally large screens.

Severtson Bright White Accoustically-Transparent (BWAT)

A woven PVC material designed to create a more realistic soundstage. It allows the speakers to be installed directly behind the screen.
With BWAT, there is virtually no sound loss, and the image is sharp and crisp. The specially designed weave allows sound to pass smoothly through the material, and the spaces in the surface are smaller than Severtson’s MicroPerf.

Severtson Cinema Grey (CG)

It is designed for today’s moderate output DLP and LCD projectors. It is a great choice for video projection in situations where lighting is moderately controlled. With its specially designed grey base surface, Cinema Grey is able to provide excellent black levels, without sacrificing the white level output. This boosts contrast, and makes video content look great, even when there is a moderate amount of ambient light.

Impression Series

CUTTING-EDGE CINEMA SCREEN TECHNOLOGY
Micro-perforation (MicroPerf) screens are the preferred choice for high-end, premier theaters. The Severtson MicroPerf viewing surfaces significantly reduces moiré which is often problematic of screens with larger perforation, yet continues to provide a more realistic soundstage allowing speakers to be placed directly behind the screen.
