The Meridian Ellipse is Meridian’s first high-performance all-in-one streaming speaker — a multi-award-winning design that distils the same DSP engineering found in the flagship DSP8000 XE and DSP9 into a sculpted, compact enclosure weighing just 3.9kg. Winner of the EISA Best Product Award 2024–2025 and multiple CEDIA Expo Best of Show honours, the Ellipse houses three dedicated amplifier channels, a three-driver active speaker system with a long-throw racetrack subwoofer, and twelve of Meridian’s proprietary DSP technologies within an incredibly inert, multi-layered sealed cabinet. It streams natively from Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, UPnP, and Bluetooth 5.3 — and accepts wired audio via USB-C (up to 192kHz/24-bit) and optical/analogue minijack — making it a complete Meridian system that requires nothing beyond a mains connection and a Wi-Fi network.
